Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians have roped in ACKO Insurance as an official insurance partner for the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021). Last year also in IPL 2020, ACKO Insurance was the official insurance partner of the Delhi Capitals.
As part of this collaboration, the Mumbai Indians (MI) and Delhi Capitals players will be sporting the ACKO logo. The association with Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals will be amplified with a 360-degree campaign across television, digital and social media platforms in the weeks to follow.
ACKO has also planned a series of activations across platforms for engaging with the audience and driving brand recall. This includes an online contest called Catch the Logo on days when the Mumbai Indians/Delhi Capitals teams are playing, giving the audience a chance to win an opportunity to virtually interact with players.
Vinod Bisht, Interim CEO, Delhi Capitals, said, “We are very pleased to collaborate with ACKO once again this year. They are a young brand, striving to scale new heights, just like our team, vibrant with the energy of youth, and aiming to better our performance each year. I am confident this will be a successful partnership for both of us once again.”
A Mumbai Indians spokesperson said, “We welcome ACKO Insurance to the Mumbai Indians One Family for the upcoming season. It is encouraging to have a brand partner which resonates the same passion and commitment towards becoming the leader and continues to be the best. We look forward to a successful association with ACKO this season.”
Commenting on the partnerships, Ashish Mishra, Executive Vice President – Marketing, ACKO General Insurance, said, “We are pleased to be associated with two of the leading teams in the tournament – the Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals. With their tremendous appeal and fan base, we aim to introduce the ACKO brand to newer audiences and cater to their protection and car insurance needs. These collaborations provide an avenue to connect with a larger consumer base and further strengthen our presence in new and existing markets.”
