The IPL 2023 Auction ahead of the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League will take place on December 23 at 2:30 PM IST in Kochi.
The IPL has also announced the final list of players set to go under the hammer, which has been slashed to 405, nearly half of the original list of 991 players.
Out of 405 players, 273 are Indians and 132 are overseas players of which 4 players are from associate nations. The total number of capped players is 119, uncapped players are 282 and 4 are from associate nations.
A maximum of 87 slots are now available with up to 30 being slotted for overseas players.
Furthermore, the highest reserve price is kept at Rs 2 crore with as many as 19 overseas players choosing the highest bracket in the mini-auction.
