The inaugural edition of Cricket South Africa’s (CSA) premier T20 tournament, SA20 (SA20 2023) is all set to get underway on January 10 with the final of the competition set to be played on February 11.
The tournament consists of six teams – Durban’s Super Giants, Joburg Super Kings, MI Cape Town, Paarl Royals, Pretoria Capitals, and Sunrisers Eastern Cape. Each team will play five home and five away matches.

All six teams have named their captain ahead of the commencement of the tournament. While Quinton de Kock will lead Durban Super Giants, Faf du Plessis, and Rashid Khan will shoulder the captaincy duties for Jo’burg Super Kings and MI Cape Town.
A total of 33 games will be played in a round-robin format and the league will be live-streamed on Viacom18 Sports in India.
