ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 is scheduled to be held in Australia from 16 October to 13 November. A total of 45 matches will be played in a 16-team tournament.
The eighth ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will see 16 teams playing 45 matches. A total of 6 teams automatically qualified for the tournament which include Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa.

The other eight – Sri Lanka, West Indies, UAE, Namibia, Scotland, Ireland, Netherlands, and Zimbabwe – will play in the qualifying round, with the top four joining the Super 12s. The Super 12 round will begin on October 22, leading up to the tournament finale which will be held on November 13.
