The whole world is facing the burn of coronavirus pandemic started from China. All the sporting events around the world is either postponed or getting cancelled, but China is getting back on to the track.
The Chinese Super League (CSL) will start its new season at the end of June or in the first week of July. Xinhua quoted Huang on Sunday saying, “Based on the assessment of the current situation, the new season will start at the end of June or the beginning of July.”
Huang Shenghua is the CEO of the Guangzhou R&F Football Club that plays in the Chinese Super League. The league will not be truncated and each team will play 30-30 match each.
The Chinese Football Association has yet to announce an official statement and a start date, with travel restrictions for foreigners to prevent the spread of the virus.
CSL was originally scheduled to start from February 22 but was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic.
