In the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) board meeting on Thursday, June 26, the discussion was regarding the nomination process to elect outgoing chairman Shashank Manohar’s replacement, which is likely to be finalised by next week.
“In today’s ICC meeting mainly administrative issues were discussed. Good discussion on Chair process and think we’ll have that finalized in next week or so, just a few points to clarify,” the source said.
“It was a good discussion on Chair process between the members. At least I am confident that by next week, we will have the entire process finalised,” an ICC Board member told PTI.
While there was no discussion on the fate of the T20 World Cup 2020, and it seems unlikely that ICC to decide before mid-July.
