Chennai Super Kings plays along with skipper MS Dhoni began preparation for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021). All the players started training after clearing RT-PCR Covid 19 test.
MS Dhoni along with senior batsman Ambati Rayudu, Ruturaj Gaikwad hit the nets on Tuesday (March 9). MS Dhoni reached Chennai on March 3 and was under 7-day quarantine. Tamil Nadu’s N Jagadeesan, R Sai Kishore and C Hari Nishaanth and Andhra medium-pacer Harishankar Reddy were also available at the training.
“The CSK players completed their quarantine requirements and began practice yesterday. Gradually, the others will join the camp after a period of quarantine,” CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan said.
Former India fast bowler L Balaji and fielding coach Rajeev Kumar are available at the initial part of the training camp. Stephen Fleming and all other overseas staffs are likely to be available till March 18. Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja will be joint the team later this month.
