Ahead of the IPL 2023 auction on December 23 in Kochi, IPL teams have to submit the list of retained and retained players list by November 15 for IPL 2023. With a day remaining many franchises are brainstorming on whom they should retain and release.

However, as per media reports, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are likely to release Manish Pandey, Australian fast bowler Andrew Tye and Indian pacer Ankit Rajpoot ahead of the IPL 2023 auction.

Lucknow Super Giants acquired the services of Manish Pandey for a whopping amount of Rs 4.6 crore in the IPL 2022 mega auction. However, Manish Pandey failed to justify his price ta and just scored 88 runs in 6 matches.

Andrew Tye was signed by LSG as the replacement for injured Mark Wood but failed to impress. He played only three matches for LSG and picked two wickets at an economy rate of 9.72.

Indian pacer Ankit Rajpoot was roped in for Rs 50 lakhs but didn’t get any game in the IPL 2022.

Debuting in IPL 2022, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) qualified for playoffs where they to Royal Challengers Bangalore in Eliminator.
