Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has joined hands with the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) for sustainable initiatives during the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024).
The partnership aims to leverage the collective expertise, vision and resources to drive positive change within the community with innovative strategies to minimise the environmental footprint.
This includes adopting renewable energy solutions including waste management practices to promote sustainability during matches this season.
By harnessing the research capabilities of IIT Madras, the partnership will explore cutting-edge technologies and solutions to address environmental challenges.

Chennai Super Kings start their IPL 2024 campaign on March 22, 2024 in the opening match of the season against Royal Challengers Bangalore at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
