The 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) will kick off on March 22 with defending champions Chennai Super Kings taking on Royal Challengers Bengaluru at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
BCCI have announced the schedule for the first two weeks of the IPL 2024.
IPL 2024 will consist of 74 matches including the playoffs and finals. A total of 70 league matches will be played among the 10 teams. All the teams will play 7 home games and 7 away games respectively in the league stage.

IPL 2024 Groups
The teams have been divided into two groups.
Group A: Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants
Group B: while Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans
Each team will play two matches against teams of their group and the one situated on the same spot in the other group. They will play one match against the other teams of the other group. Hence, every team will play a total of 14 games during the league stage.
