Bengaluru FC have entered into a year-long association with eat.fit who will be the Blues’ food and nutrition partner for the upcoming Indian Super League season (ISL 2020-21), the club announced on Friday.
The association will see Bengaluru FC and eat.fit launch the ‘eat.fit Like BFC’ programme in a bid to promote the benefits of clean and balanced eating. The programme will see the coming together of the players, staff, nutritionists and chefs who will work together to put out information, give insights and even create an exclusive line of food for the fans of BFC.
“Healthy eating and a focus on the right diet has been one of the foundation stones at Bengaluru FC since the club’s inception in 2013. This makes our association with eat.fit the perfect match on every front. Furthermore, we are delighted that through the association, we will be able to involve the fans, an aspect we hold very dear to us at Bengaluru FC,” said Mandar Tamhane, CEO, Bengaluru FC, on the association.
“We are extremely thrilled to partner with BFC. Sports and food have compelling synergies and our partnership will build on this to promote clean and balanced food. With both of us being brands with strong Bangalore DNA and following, we are looking forward to do something great this season,” said Ankit Nagori, founder eat.fit.
Bengaluru FC kicks off their ISL campaign with a season-opener against FC Goa on November 22, at the Fatorda Stadium, in Goa.
