Ahead of the upcoming season of the Indian Super League (ISL 2023-24), Hyderabad FC announced the departure of three foreign players – Joel Chianese, Borja Herrera and Javier Siverio.
Chianese played 51 matches for the club scoring nine goals and providing four assists and was part of the Indian Super League (ISL) winning team in the 2021-22 season along with Siverio who scored some crucial goals for the club during his two-year spell with the club.

In 45 games for Hyderabad FC, he netted 12 times and was the perfect foil for lead marksman Bartholomew Ogbeche.

As for Borja Herrera, he spent just one season with the Yellow and Blacks but was highly influential as Manolo Marquez’s men finished second in the league behind record-breaking League Shield Winners Mumbai City FC.
