The player auction for the 4th edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL 2023) will be conducted on June 14, 2023. LPL 2023 Auction will take place at the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo.

This is the first time the tournament, which is Sri Lanka’s topmost domestic T20 league with an international flavour, is conducting a player auction.
Each franchise team will bring in a sum of US$ 500,000 for the auction to bid for players, thus totalling up to an overall sum of US$ 2.5 million from all five teams.
