Amid lockdown, Indian Premier League (IPL) has been postponed indefinitely until further notice. But IPL franchises and players are finding different ways to entertain fans and keep them engaged.
2016 IPL champion Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has started an Instagram Live programme “Warner’s Corner”, where David Warner invites another teammate and have a conversation.
Warner’s opening partner Jonny Bairstow was the first guest on the “Warner’s Corner” show.
While the live interaction, Jonny Bairstow asked the difference between SRH and other IPL teams, David takes a dig at Virat Kohli and RCB. Warner said that Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) doesn’t have an IPL Trophy. He also said that hope Virat Kohli is watching this session.
“Bangalore don’t have an IPL Trophy. I hope Virat (Kohli) is watching,” said Warner.
David Warner and Jonny Bairstow open for Sunrisers Hyderabad and had a successful last season. In the IPL 2019, Warner scored 692 runs from 12 games and Bairstow scored 445 runs in 10 matches.
